  2. Embedded librarian service
  3. Be able to create appointments with both research coaches and writing tutors.
  4. Understand the differences between the free internet and library subscription databases.
  5. Navigate a course research guide to find different types of source materials, both in print and online:
    1. Books
    2. Reference Materials
    3. Viewpoint essays
    4. News sources
    5. Journal articles
  6. Construct effective database searches for journal articles, using the following concepts:
    1. One idea per line
    2. Separate searches for separate points in paper
    3. Use limiters
    4. Use subject terms
  7. Be aware that the citation management/content management tool Mendeley exist, and know how to become proficient with Mendeley
